Around the Bend Equine exists to develop confident, capable, and compassionate horse-and-rider partnerships through tailored, individualized training. With a focus on eventing, OTTBs retraining, lessons, individualized horse training and OTTB resales, the program is dedicated to giving each horse a correct foundation and each rider the tools to grow with confidence. Becky McDonough
Becky has devoted her life to horses, bringing over 34 years of riding experience and more than 20 years of teaching to her work with riders and horses of all levels. She specializes in eventing and retraining Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds and is committed to individualized, and supportive instruction. Becky focuses on developing confident, balanced partnerships grounded in trust and clear communication.

As an extension of Around the Bend Equine we offer a therapy program and lessons. Our program is rooted in compassion, professionalism, and respect for every rider’s journey. Whether developing motor skills, working through anxiety, or simply finding peace in the presence of a horse, we help each individual move forward, on their own terms. With the healing support of horses, hope is just around the bend.
